TEHRAN – Director Masud Jafari-Jozani’s comedy drama “Iranburger” won the award for best film for producer Morteza Shayesteh at the 15th Hafez Awards, which were held at Tehran’s Grand Hall of the Interior Ministry on Tuesday.

The celebration is organized annually by the Persian cinematic monthly Donya-ye Tasvir (Picture World) held under the title Donya-ye Tasvir Cinematic and TV Films Celebration.

The best documentary award was given to “A Place to Live” by Mohsen Ostadali.

The award for best TV presenter was shared by Adel Ferdowsipur and Rambod Javan.

Mehran Rajabi got the best comedian award and Rima Raminfar received the best comedienne award.

Shahram Nazaeri and Homayun Shajarian shared the best film singer award.

The best TV series actor award went Dariush Arjmand, and Shabnam Moqaddami received the best TV series actress award.

The jury special award was presented to writer/actor/director Reza Attaran for his comedy “Red Carpet”.

Director Marzieh Borumand and cinematographer Hassan Zahedi were honored with lifetime achievement awards.

* Best TV series screenwriter: Mohsen Tanabandeh for “The Capital”

* Best TV series director: Behruz Shoeibi for “The Veiled”

* Best TV series: “Kolah Qermezi”

* Best musician: Behzad Abdi for “Metropol”

* Best screenwriter: Behruz Afkhami for “Azar, Shahdokht, and Parviz and Others”

* Best director: Hamid Nematollah for “Hard Makeup”

* Best cinematographer: Morteza Ghafuri for “A Few Cubic Meters of Love”

* Best actor: Majid Salehi for “Absolute Rest” and Amin Hayaii for “Lady”

* Best actress: Anna Nemati for “Unripe Pomegranates” and Gohar Kheirandish for “Azar, Shahdokht and, Parviz and Others”
